Telehealth Consultations

Telehealth/Telephone Consults are a very useful addition to our clinical services as they can allow you to access health services over the phone or via a video chat. It also allows you to consult with one of our practitioners should they be working remotely at times.

Telehealth consults:- [Face time]
Telephone consults:- [Telephone conversation only] can be booked for shorter consults of 15min or less.

Allied Health [Psychology]

A variety of any of the below depending on your practitioner:

Zoom – your email address is required, and you will receive an email with a link.
Skype – your Skype name is required, and you will be invited to the Skype chat by your practitioner.
Whats App – this is an app that you are required to download onto your device and your practitioner calls you via this App.
Telephone – Your practitioner calls you on your phone at your booked appointment time.

To be prepared for your Telehealth

Charge your phone or device prior to your appointment.

Use a quiet and private room away from noise.

Have a note pad to write down notes during the session.

Wait for your doctor to contact you. Please note your doctor may be running late and may call you later than the start time. Your doctor may run early as well and may call you a little earlier.

If you do not answer when the doctor calls, the Doctors will attempt to contact you again before going on to their next consult.

If you miss your appointment time, the same policy applies as it does for an in-clinic consultation. You will be charged a non-attendance fee and you will need to reschedule your appointment.
