Dr Janice Ong is a trained GP. She obtained her medical degree in Adelaide in 1998 and went on to complete her Fellowship in General Practice and has 20 years’ experience as a doctor serving the people of Adelaide. Dr Janice Ong recognises that our minds, our beliefs and emotions play an important role in our healing.
She is an avid reader and learner who believes in staying up to date with recent advances in health and wellbeing. She has undertaken further studies in nutritional and environmental medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) as well as further studies in lifestyle medicine with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
She is happy to see anyone with Womens Hormonal & thyroid issues and support patients with their oncology journey.
Dr Janice Ong has undertaken further studies and is also a GP Psychotherapist who is now offering sessions providing focused psychological strategies for those with anxiety, depression or adjustment disorder.
If you have a mental health care plan, you can obtain a Medicare rebate for up to10 sessions per calendar year.
If you do not have a mental health care plan, Dr Ong can assist you to prepare one if you fulfill the criteria.
Dr Janice Ong is also a Certified Professional Life Coach and Transformational Embodiment Facilitator. She has trained in multiple modalities including emotional freedom technique (EFT), breathwork, kinesiology and neuro linguistic programming.
She offers Coaching sessions to help you to embody greater well-being in each of the five facets of your being including mental, emotional, physical, energetic and spiritual. If you are frustrated with your health, recognise that your lifestyle or stresses are contributing to your chronic illness, and are serious about taking your health and well-being into your own hands, book in for a Coaching session. You might discover that these sessions have the ability to completely change your life.
